Baileys Horse Feed & British Breeding Futurity Scheme Championship Final 2006
AmaZulu was Champion Dressage yearling with a good score of 8.26 - the only dressage yearling to score over 8. Evaluators were Celia Clarke, Edward Evans and Carolyn Rycroft. She was the 5th highest placed yearling at the Finals. An extremely good end to the season!

AmaZulu was presented for evaluation by Clem Somerset and Bridget Parker at the BEF Futurity Scheme qualifier at Catherston Stud. She was awarded First Premium and was the highest placed dressage bred yearling. She has been invited by invitation to the Championship Finals in September.
July
A spur of the moment decision to take AmaZulu to Worcester Lodge proved to be a good one - she won the BSPA Sport Horse class then took the overall coloured Reserve Champion title!

Bangalore won the foal class at the KWPN Keuring at Bromyard on 22nd July. The inspectors described him as being a "long-lined, correct foal with presence, easy balance and powerful movement with good self-carriage". We were delighted with the result!

An up-dated picture of Buranpour.

AmaZulu attended The Royal Show and was shown in the Warmblood yearling class, being the only coloured. In fact, she was the only coloured to be presented across all the Warmblood classes.
The class was judged by Johan Knaap, Director of the KWPN and it was an extremely good result for the coloured world, with AmaZulu being awarded 3rd place behind the Kirbys’ stunning His Highness filly and Paul Friday’s Cardinar filly. Other progeny in the class were by the stallions For Edition, Rubin Royal, His Highness, Don Primero, Chequille Z to name but a few.

June
The "boys" Buranpour & Bangalore are growing up!

Buranpour is 4½ months old, Bangalore 2 months and best of friends!

AmaZulu had her first outing of the season and we were delighted with the results! At the National In-Hand at Malvern she was second in the yearling Sport horse and Warmblood classes, only beaten each time by the Kirby's fabulous filly by His Highness.
Notable sires in the classes were Kostolany, Kasparow, Tyson, Cardinar, Classic Juan, Monte Carlo and Burggraaf, to name but a few - and she was the only coloured in the ring!

We are delighted that Buranpour and Bangalore have been sold to the same fabulous home. They will be going to their new owner at weaning and although we will be sorry to see them leave, they are going to a top class competition home.
Zotika G's new owner John Hinds is having great success with her. At the North Yorks County show on Sunday - not only did she win the CHAPS youngstock and Open In-Hand but took the coloured Championship!

Matrix has been sold to go point to pointing with a new trainer in Devon.

The foals are growing up and enjoying the beautiful weather!

Buranpour at 15 weeks.

Bangalore at 5 weeks.

AmaZulu is suddenly looking very grown up at 13 months old!

May
Matrix is up for sale. He has won 2 point to points in 2006, is a safe sound jumper and will make someone a fabulous schoolmaster for next season. More about Matrix on his page.

Up-dated photographs of Buranpour (13 weeks) and Bangalore (3 weeks).

Bangalore at 10 days old - he is keeping us guessing as to what colour he will end up!

Buranpour at 10 weeks - he is proving to be quite a character!!!

Bangalore C was born on 2 May at 11.20pm. A beautiful black colt by the wonderful stallion OO Seven (Rubinstein). He will be for sale at weaning.

AmaZulu C celebrates her first birthday on 1st May.

We are delighted with Buranpour - unfortunately, as he is a colt he will be for sale at weaning. He is a bold, friendly colt and it will be a sad sale.

April
Zotika G is now a 2 year old and growing on nicely. She will be shown again this year.

Matrix ran in the Intermediate at the Old Berks point to point on Bank Holiday Monday and won!
Deep King had his first run since October 2005 at Ludlow on Thursday 13 April. He ran in the Hunter Chase with JJ being in the saddle for the first time under Rules. King ran with all his usual enthusiasm and would have possibly won or at least been in the frame when he hit four out and the saddle slipped up his neck so JJ had to pull up. However, a very promising first run of the season!
March
Matrix runs in the Restricted at VWH with Jonathan Jarrett (aka JJ) in the saddle. They finish 5th - a good run on good to firm ground.
February
Buranpour C was born at 3.30 am on 20 February. Madley produced a strong bay colt by the late Negretto (Negro).

Matrix wins the Members at Lark hill - a win first time out for the Trainer
The weather hasn't been kind so we have been unable run Matrix due to abandoned meetings so we are looking forward to better ground in March.
