Extended Pedigree

Florida is by the 0utstanding stallion Arpeggio who stands at Landgestut Warendorf.

Florida was awarded Premium foal at the SWB foal inspection.

She was ridden for 6 months in Germany as a 3 year old prior to being put in foal.  She has extremely good movement and a good jumping technique coupled with a golden temperament.

She is graded in the Hauptstutbuch I with the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern when in Germany.

Florida´s maternity line is one of Hollands most successful ones.  "The Zottie line" goes back to the foundation mare Zottie who was awarded with everything a successful breeding mare can get.  She was a full sister to the famous Marco Polo.

Florida E graded into the Oldenburg Main Studbook in 2007.

To date, Florida has produced five out of five coloured foals by outstanding European stallions.  Her two colts are both licensed and performance tested stallions.

SIRE:  Arpeggio (Acord II - Power -  Schoning) 1995

After the deaths of Westphalian trademark stallions Pilot and Polydor, things quietened down in the show jumper breeding in Westphalia.  But this dry spell did not last long; one ofthe new heroes is Arpeggio.  Although this is not surprising as his bloodlines can also be traced back to Pilot.

Arpeggio is known as a creator of mares.  Arpeggio daughters are making a name of themselves as dams of stallions.

This Warendorf State Stud sire has turned into an outstanding sire - 23 of his offspring are successful at S level, his progeny have won EUR 450,000 in prize funds and six of his sons have been licensed.  A high number of performance horses among his progeny is surely an undisputed mark of the outstanding nature of his ability to sire horses offering superby jumping, performance and rideability.  The FN estimates his breeding value in dressage as a score of 124 and 135 in respect of jumping.

So we can conclude that Arpeggio is one of the most versatile sires in Germany!

Arpeggio was vice-champion of the 1997 NRW national approval in Munster-Handorf.

His sire, Acord II, was the stallion performance test winner and federal vice-champion and was in heavy demand by breeders from all over the country and from neighbouring countries.  Numerous approved sons resulted from the first few covering years including the champion stallions of the Hessian stallion approvals and the ZfDP 1996.

Arpeggio’s dam, the state premium mare Perle is a highly successful showjumper up to intermediate-A class.  This mare with her strong paces received a score of 9.0 in free jumping in her field test.

Damsire Power was also a successful showjumper.  Schoning was the stallion performance test winner of his age class.

DAM:  Pensylvania (Polany - Domenico -  Samber) 1996

Westfalen bred Pensylvania competed at L show jumping.  Pensylvania was half sister to the coloured stallion Ferrari.

DAM SIRE: Polany (Polydor - Foxtrott - Usurpator) 1988

Polany is a Warendorf State Stud stallion.

He attained the highest progeny winnings of all the paternal half-brothers, with a winnings sum of Euro 133,303. The Rhineland horse was champion of the 1990 approval and won his stallion performance test with a score of 130.54 points.

Polany’s pedigree includes a high proportion of thoroughbred blood via his dam Fabel, who derives from the famous Vornholz mareline of the mare Finnländerin, through stallions like Usurpator xx, Ramzes xx and Sinus xx.

The stallion had successes in advanced (S) class showjumping competitions under Marcus Döring.

Progeny:

In 2005, Florida's first foal was a coloured colt Wyoming E by Wind Dancer (Weltruhm - Argentan I) he was awarded Premium at the Mecklenburg foal inspection.

Wiarpo (formerly named Wyoming E) by Wind Dancer licensed with the Mecklenburg Verband amd then completed his 30 Day Test at Redefin.  He was sold to America at the end of 2008 as a Hunter Jumper.

Florida produced an absolutely stunning colt by Sancisco (Sandro Hit-Rohdiamant) in 2006.  San Diego E was awarded Premium with the Mecklenburg, awarded 9´s for his gaits.  He was sold to Gestut Kempke Hof in Germany.

San Diego licensed with the Meckelnburg PKS in the Pinto book.  He was sold in January 2009 to stand in Norway.

In 2009, San Diego E (Sancisco) has passed his 30 Day Test and he also licenced with the Mecklenburg Verband.  He will be doing his 70 Day Test in 2010.  He is now known as Sir Cisco.

More photos and video of Sir Cisco can be found here.
